Landwehr Construction Announces Promotion of Two Long-Term Employees to Vice President Roles

St. Cloud, MN, December 13, 2024/- Landwehr Construction, Inc., a trusted leader in construction services for nearly 130 years, is proud to announce the promotion of two long-time employees, Luke Stock and Derek Burggraff, to VP of Commercial Construction and VP of Public Construction, respectively. These promotions come as the company positions itself for continued growth in both commercial and public construction sectors.

Lucas (Luke) Stock has been an integral part of Landwehr Construction for over 20 years, starting as a Laborer in the field and progressing to Senior Estimator/Project Manager in 2011. He has built a solid commercial construction team and has led various high-profile projects that have shaped the region, including the St. Cloud Library, TH 15 Diverging Diamond Interchange, numerous flood mitigation efforts in the Fargo-Moorhead area, and the Bemidji Veterans Home. Regarding his promotion, Luke says, “I look forward to leading the Commercial Construction group to new levels. My goal is to help Landwehr grow to meet the industry demands while upholding the strong values and culture that define us.”

Derek Burggraff joined Landwehr Construction as an intern in 2007 and has been a full-time employee since 2009. Over the years, he advanced from an Associate to a Senior Estimator/Project Manager focusing on public work and has led numerous impactful projects that have made a significant difference in the community, including the MnDOT Highway 10 and 23 Interchange project in St. Cloud, MnDOT Highway 59 and 108 project in Pelican Rapids, and Steans County CSAH 1 project in Sartell. As VP of Public Construction, Derek is focused on growing Landwehr’s heavy highway division and supporting other divisions while emphasizing safety, high-quality project delivery, and maintaining the company’s family-oriented culture. “My goal is to ensure our division remains well-staffed and safe, while also continuing to produce exceptional projects on time,” said Derek.
